Our Wonder by Lurepa Sipp Thermos is made of stainless steel and designed for children so they can bring their favorite cold or hot drinks with them to their short or long term hospital stays.
We’ve seen how hard it can be to sit up and take a drink of water without spilling it all over yourself. And, we know the value of children wanting and needing to be independent. This is why we created our Wonder by Lurepa Sipp Thermos. We wanted to give back a sense of normalcy, help provide comfort and also encourage the importance of self care. Self care is vital and can’t be understated; it is however a learned skill.
Using your own thermos we found you have the ability to track the amount of fluids being taken in, can create the independence they strive for and know you are instilling in them good habits for when you leave the hospital. Here are some tips to get the longest life out of your Thermos:
- Before first use, and soon as possible after each use, wash all parts with warm, soapy water. Use a straw cleaning brush to clean the inside of the straw. Rinse all parts thoroughly and allow time to dry completely before storing it.
