Our Wonder by Lurepa Wunderfy bag is a perfectly sized bag for kids to bring along with them their favorite items to their short or long term hospital stays.
The creation of this bag was inspired from when our child chose to use fake bugs and cockroaches to play jokes on the hospital staff. Yes, that’s right, fake bugs and cockroaches! But let me tell you, the hospital staff and her had so much fun and ended up creating beautiful memories during often overwhelming times.
Our bag is intended to be used for play which in itself for children is like therapy. If we can help them do something positive to pass the time instead of having to worry so much about the big adult things happening to them then I think we too can help in creating beautiful memories. Hands down, during times like this and when possible, we think being present and playing together is much better than putting them in front of a phone or ipad.
Our bag has also been designed so it can travel on wheelchairs, hospital beds, a parent or guardian, IV poles and more. This versatility is so important as each child's situation and circumstances will vary. Being able to ‘bring comfort with you’ no matter where you go, what your abilities are and not knowing how long the wait might be is helpful. Plus, knowing where tubes, IVs and other medical equipment may go is impossible. With our bag being adaptable on how it can be worn and used you can bring your favorite items with you and know it can adapt to what your present needs are more often than not.
