Adaptive LU Lurepa Bag

Our LU Lurepa bag is a perfectly sized bag for parents, caregivers and adults to bring along with them their essential items to their short or long term hospital stays.

The creation of this bag was inspired from our own journey but was also inspired by friends and family and their personal journeys.

We understand there are times when you have to move from CT, to MRI, to surgery, to ICU, to a room and on and on. All those moves can be stressful and it’s even more stressful not knowing where your important items are. With our bag you can bring your essential items like your phone, wallet, etc. with you.

We also understand there are times when sitting and getting treatment that it can be exhausting. Packing this bag with essentials for your appointments like your favorite tea that helps with nausea, Chapstick for dry mouth, reading glasses, a notebook and pen to write out what you need to recall or a book that makes you laugh are all important.

The stitch of the bag is done a bit differently. This is unique to the LU Lurepa bag. To us it shows some of the meaning in our name. The bag was inspired by something beautiful, unexpected, and unfamiliar. It was inspired by many of you because we believe in you, stand with you and this is how we can show our support.

Our bag has also been designed so it can travel on wheelchairs, hospital beds, a parent or guardian, IV poles and more. This versatility is so important as each situation and circumstances will vary. Being able to ‘bring comfort with you’ no matter where you go, what your abilities are and not knowing how long the wait might be is helpful. Plus, knowing where tubes, IVs and other medical equipment may go is impossible. With our bag being adaptable on how it can be worn and used you can bring your favorite items with you and know it can adapt to what your present needs are more often than not.
